Surf safety/awareness, board riding techniques, confidence and encouragement are our top priorities. And there is no need to worry about the cold as we have the best super warm wetsuits available to make your surfing experience a positive one. Learning to surf is easier than you may think, with quality soft surfboards, and the techniques and skills form our fully qualified surf instructors, you will be up and riding the waves in no time. Coastrider has a fresh and fun approach to all our surf sessions, with all our staff motivated to provide you with only the best surf instruction.  Coastrider provides clients with professional standards of operations ensuring all clients receive plenty of attention.

All Coastrider Surf Instructors hold a surf coaching card, with surf Bronze Medallion and Senior First aid qualifications, and you receive the best service and good times from your lesson with us. Beginner surf lessons are held in waist to chest deep water, catching small fun waves. All consideration in regards to safety at the beach is paramount with clients learning all about the dangers of the coastal environment and respecting the beach and other surfers, but the best part is of course feeling the stoke of riding a wave, standing on a surfboard.

Coastrider learn to surf packages are ideal as you get the benefit of learning to surf over structured surfing lessons, as well as gaining additional knowledge of surf safety and awareness. So if you are looking for good times at the beach and in the surf this summer, then look us up and come have some fun. Wetsuit and Board Hire is also available from our Clifton Beach base if required. Learn to surf packages are available at all Red Herring Surf stores or from Coastrider Surf Academy, and all come with a FREE surf goodie bag to get you super stoked.
