A nose for surfing adventure led Belinda to Indonesia and Central and South America, and into a job at Costa Rica’s Delfin Amor Dolphin and Whale Marine Research Centre. From 2000 to 2003, Belinda was surf program director and field instructor at Costa Rica’s Rainforest Outward Bound School, taking groups of teenagers by 4WD through the jungle onto unspoilt beaches to experience the "pura vida" or pure life.

On her return to Australia Belinda intensified her studies in Yoga and meditation and Completed Level 1 yoga teacher training in Byron bay. Since that time she has continued to develop her Yoga in the context of surfing fitness including commencing Level 2 Yoga therapy training in 2009.

In conjunction with the surf school Belinda now teaches a range of one-day workshops and surf and yoga retreats that employ yoga and meditation as part of a holistic ocean experience.

Since taking over the surf school from her father Kel Wehner, at her home beach in Broulee in 2003, Belinda and her team of friendly professional instructors have taught many beginners or intermediate surfers both male and female of all ages.

Group lessons and private instruction on the easy perfect learn to surf waves of Broulee Beach near Batemans Bay is the best surfing experience the South Coast has to offer.

For lessons Belinda loves North Broulee beach as it has a forgiving wave that is perfect for learn to surfers.

Lessons are also available through the Narooma Surf School at Dalmeny beach and in Batemans Bay at Rosedale, Surf beach, Durras and Bawley Point Beaches.
