Our beginner surf lessons are specifically aimed at those who have never surfed before or those who have already taken some some lessons but feel they need to improve. Our improver clinics are specifically aimed at those who are surfing fairly regularly and starting to catch and ride green waves but feel they need to improve further and perhaps need to concentrate and master a specifc aspect of surfing such as improving turns, perfecting a manoeuvre, paddling out techniques or just increasing your wave count.

Surfing is progressive and with the right coaching and encouragment from the Broome Surf School you are guaranteed to achieve your surfing goals in a safe but fun environment. Each lesson is approximately 1.5hr with a beach and water element.  Groups are arranged by ability and have low instructor to pupil ratios, typically 1:8 or less. As well as the beach drills and waterwork what makes our lessons so special is the overall view of surfing provided. Subjects, such as surfboard design, the history of surfing, beach safety, weather and waves, surfing fitness, the rules of surfing, types of breaks, and many more are covered in our lessons and programs.

We also provide:  School programs; after-school programs; and coroprate activities on request.

Operational hours:  Tuesday - Sunday 8am - 5pm

Surf Equipment: Our surf school uses the latest surf equipment specifically designed for first time surfers, ease of use, stability and safety being the key factors.

 Surf Lesson Includes:  Free Sunscreen;free use of soft surfboard;free use of rash shirt and hat;qualified coaches; and beach safety & ocean awareness education.

All our lessons are certified and approved by Surfing Australia (Australia's Peak Surf Organisation)
